CFAI 1-1 Athlone Town

The 2010 Colleges representative team drew their first fixture against an organised Athlone Town team in a spirited contest in Athlone this afternoon. The students took the lead in the first half before Athlone restored parity midway through the second period. The game finished all square but proved excellent preparation for the annual fixtures v the Defence Forces and the Universities later in the year.
